Hiring for Sourcing/Purchase Executive/ Senior Executive at Himedia Laboratories Pvt Ltd

Job location : Ghatkoper

Job role:

To handle day to day sourcing activities for raw material, equipment, packing etc.

Experience in handling sourcing and procurement of Laboratory chemicals will be preferred.

To source multiple vendors, compare, analyze and select the best vendor.

Identification and new vendor development.

To send enquiry to the vendors as per requirement of materials, expedite quotations from the vendors and Execution of purchase orders.

Coordination with R&D and Manufacturing teams for the requirement and delivery of material.

Proper documentation and record keeping of purchase orders and related documents.

Follow up with supplier for PO, Invoice and Dispatch of materials.

Negotiating the prices with suppliers while maintaining good relationship / Client servicing.

Coordinating with internal QC team for material testing and selection.

Expedite custom clearance of imported materials.

Create, maintain and provide sourcing reports to management on daily basis.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

Graduate in Life Sciences with 3-5 years experience in similar role.

Experience in using SAP is mandatory.

Should have experience in sourcing lab materials and chemicals.

Should have experience in sourcing both from domestic and international market.

Should have experience in handling custom clearance for imported materials.

Should have experience in expediting delivery through freight forwarders.

Should be able to handle the sourcing activities independently.

Excellent understanding of Procurement Process and current Best Practices in industry,

Positive attitude with excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
