Job description
Key Responsibilities
KOL/ HCP engagement
Be the owner of Scientific Activities in the respective regions. Active participation in scientific programs through lectures/presentations to propagate scientific communication to target audience.
Conducting CMEs/doctor group meetings at regional level in all therapy areas including pediatric nutrition and medical nutrition – close collaboration with regional sales teams to identify needs as per company priorities
Field work with regional sales teams to build rapport with KOLs & take suggestions to improve the quality of scientific services/ brand feedback. Work with clinicians or patient advocacy groups to implement patient education program’s/doctor program’s and to increase awareness and importance of nutrition in the management of the patient/ establish nutrition as a therapy in the treatment algorithm. Liaison with key opinion leaders on educational and clinically/scientifically oriented initiatives to establish long-term collaborative relationships and advocacy.
Responsible for identifying and segmenting KOLs in various therapeutic areas in terms of specialty, experience and academic interest in the respective regions
To work towards establishing the concept of role of nutrition in prophylaxis and treatment of diseases through networking with regional key KOLs for designing program’s at regional level.
Identifying key institutes for long term projects
Customer Relationship Management through Scientific inputs and Medical Queries
Provide scientific inputs, timely and value-added responses to medical queries from medical profession, patient groups, government authorities and field force to strengthen relationship with these stakeholders.
Responsible for medical information services (MIS). Responsibilities include supporting sales force in providing information to physicians related to latest developments in medical research, current recommendations on Standard of Care across therapeutic areas
Medical training
Continuously update medical/ product knowledge of field force and training of recruit in the region in coordination with the training team.
Work very closely with the Training Manager to devise innovative methods of trainings/refreshers.
Market intelligence
Study the market for new product ideas, new positioning of already launched products etc in collaboration with medical director/medical affairs teams
Communicating at an ongoing basis competitive/scientific intelligence from region to medical director/medical affairs team to ensure timely objection handling/ scientific support to sales marketing teams to handle competitor objections.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as directed by your supervisor.
Milk Code Compliance
Provide oversight and guidance regarding response to medical, consumer and internal requests for information regarding Milk Code matters
Provide coaching and guidance to sales teams for compliance
Reporting: Head Pediatric Nutrition
States to be covered: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu
Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/ Chennai
Minimum Qualification & Experience: MBBS/ MD with 3-6 years of experience in medico
marketing with reputed pharmaceutical company/nutrition company. Preferred earlier experience in a regional role in multinationals/Indian companies

Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, coordination, and time-management skills.
Knowledge base
Ability to problem solve, work in teams, lead others toward defined objectives and present complex data clearly are also critical.
Able to work independently and meticulously.
Adaptable and having the ability to work under a wide variety of conditions
